Find dishes you can cook from what is already in your fridge
한국어Recipe sites are built around dish names, so there is no way to start from what is left in the fridge. This works the other way round. Put in what you have too much of and what is stuck there in a small leftover amount, and dishes that use both rise to the top. We pulled 1,755 ingredients out of 1,155 recipes published by Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
Recipe text and nutrition figures are the ministry's own wording. All we did was split the one-paragraph ingredient line into separate ingredients.
If an ingredient is not in the data we say so. We never quietly swap in something similar. 대파, 파 and 쪽파 stay three different things.
Too much of it, needs using up
A whole box of potatoes someone gave you. Dishes that use a lot of it rise to the top.
These pile up often. Tap one to add it.
A little left, nowhere to use it
The jar stuck at the back. Few dishes use it at all, so we weigh a match more heavily.
These tend to be the leftovers. Tap one to add it.
Only the dates you type are counted. Leave it blank and nothing is shown. A date you type stays in this browser only, and clearing your browser data clears it too. No notifications are sent. The colour tells you when you open the page. A use by date is about quality. We do not tell you whether something is still safe to eat.
Paste a receipt
Paste the text of a supermarket receipt and we look up each line in our ingredient list. Nothing is read from a photo and nothing leaves your browser.
Dishes that clear the fridge
Add ingredients to either box above and dishes appear here. One box is enough.
Off by default. Turn it on and the list stays inside this browser only, never on a server. On a shared computer leave it off, and if you turned it on, press Erase now when you are done.
Browse by ingredient
Each ingredient collects the dishes that use it. The number is how many dishes use it.
